The Windelo 50 is a Barreau and Neuman design built by Windelo in Canet-en-Roussillon, France. It is the established cruising platform from which the separately numbered Windelo 51 Sport was derived, not another name for that model. Published photography spans delivered Adventure and Yachting equipment and finish versions from different generations, so details shown on one boat should not be assumed to represent every Windelo 50.

Accommodation can be arranged around either an L-shaped or U-shaped main-deck galley, with plans offering up to four main cabins and an optional skipper’s cabin. Those alternatives change circulation, worktop area, privacy and storage, making the intended mix of family cruising, guests or crew more important than the headline cabin count.
