Crew information
Captain: Storm Wilson Crew: Penélope Freire-Laree Captain Storm Wilson Storm has always been drawn to life on the water, and her career has taken her from sailing the Mediterranean to creating unforgettable charter experiences for guests from around the world. Originally from France and with a British background, she brings a naturally international outlook, a love of adventure and a warm, effortless approach to hospitality. A commercially endorsed RYA Yachtmaster Offshore, Storm has built her experience through private family charters, flotilla sailing and a wide variety of conditions across the Mediterranean. She is equally comfortable taking the helm for a day of sailing as she is making sure everything behind the scenes runs seamlessly. Calm, practical and confident, she takes pride in giving guests the freedom to completely relax, knowing their yacht and experience are in capable hands. Before becoming a full-time skipper, Storm worked in events and hospitality, where she developed a real passion for creating memorable experiences and bringing people together. She brings that same energy to chartering, taking the time to understand what each group enjoys and shaping the week around them. Whether guests are looking for beautiful sailing, long lunches, spectacular sunsets or a little more adventure, she loves finding the perfect balance. Storm is particularly at home when there is something to get involved in. With a passion for diving and watersports, she loves getting guests out on the water to make the most of Harmony’s toys; from snorkeling and sea scooters to wakeboarding, kneeboarding and days spent simply swimming and relaxing from the floating dock. Back onboard, she is just as happy mixing a cocktail and settling everyone in for sunset. Away from the yacht, Storm is an avid skier, horse polo player and traveler, and is always happiest when there is a new place to explore or a new adventure to be had. She speaks fluent English and French, with a good knowledge of Spanish, and particularly enjoys the international atmosphere that comes with life in the charter world. For Storm, a great charter is about getting the balance exactly right. Knowing when guests want to head out and explore, when to raise the sails and feel the breeze, and when to simply relax and let the day unfold. With exceptional sailing, genuine relaxation, great food and drinks, and just enough adventure to make the week unforgettable, her goal is for every guest to feel completely looked after, experience the very best of the BVI, and step off Harmony already wishing they had booked another week. Chef Penélope Freire-Laree Penelope grew up on the side of a mountain in Ecuador. She grew up travelling with her mother and father. And, she always found comfort in exploring new local cuisines & flavors. For as long as she can remember, she’s stood in the kitchen next to her family. Adding the touch of love and togetherness to every meal was essential in her home. Penelope grew up in the hospitality industry, but could never ignore the sea calling her name. She gave up her life of restaurants in New York City and embarked on a crazy adventure that brought her here. Now, after two years of hosting charters in the Mediterranean, she’s bringing her love for food & adventure to the Caribbean. Expect fresh Latin flavours, gorgeous presentation, a beautifully stocked galley, and a chef who genuinely lights up when you go back for seconds. Penélope provides an emphasis on flavor & freshness. For her, the joy of sitting around the table together is what makes this career so fulfilling. Come hungry!
