Captain: Luca Camusi Captain Luca Camusi Originally from Italy, Captain Luca Camusi brings together a love of sailing, adventure, and hospitality with extensive experience aboard luxury sailing catamarans throughout the Mediterranean and Caribbean. His recent captaincy experience includes Bali and Fountaine Pajot catamarans ranging from 42 to 70 feet, giving him a strong understanding of both yacht operations and the guest-service side of a successful charter. Before making yachting his full-time career, Luca spent six years as international cabin crew with Emirates, where he developed the warm, attentive hospitality style he now brings onboard. He enjoys being part of the guest experience, whether mixing cocktails, sharing a favorite anchorage, organizing a day on the water, or simply making sure everyone feels relaxed and at home aboard. An avid waterman, Luca is happiest in, on, or around the ocean. He enjoys spearfishing, fishing, lobstering, freediving, scuba diving, watersports, and capturing adventures through photography and videography. As an SSI Divemaster and AIDA-certified freediver, he is an enthusiastic guide for guests who want to explore everything the Bahamas has to offer above and below the surface. Luca holds a commercially endorsed RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Offshore certification and brings a calm, safety-conscious approach to the helm. His easygoing personality, sense of adventure, and genuine enthusiasm for creating memorable experiences make him a natural fit for charter life. Together with Chef Janey, Luca looks forward to welcoming guests aboard and sharing the turquoise waters, hidden anchorages, incredible marine life, and laid-back island lifestyle that make the Bahamas so special. Chef/First Mate: Janey Bryant Chef Janey Bryant Chef Janey is a talented South African yacht chef with over eight years of experience in hospitality and charter yachting. Known for her warm personality and calm, professional approach, she takes great pride in creating memorable dining experiences tailored to each group of guests. Janey has worked as a sole chef aboard several charter catamarans in the Caribbean, preparing meals for both guests and crew while also assisting with deck operations and yacht management. Her experience includes provisioning in remote locations, designing custom menus, and delivering consistently high standards of service. Her culinary style focuses on fresh ingredients, vibrant flavors, and beautifully presented dishes inspired by global cuisine. Whether preparing elegant multi-course dinners or relaxed family-style meals, Janey enjoys creating dishes that are visually striking, comforting, and perfectly suited to the yachting lifestyle. Having previously worked in high-end hospitality serving VIP clients, she brings exceptional attention to detail and guest care to everything she does.
