Mykonos Marina (known locally as the New Port) is located in Tourlos, approximately two kilometres north of the Old Port and town of Mykonos (Chora). It provides good shelter from the prevailing winds and is quiet, being away from the main town, but close enough to be able to come and go with ease. Accessibility Mykonos Marina is connected to Chora and the Old Port by taxi or bus. The main taxi stand is located on the waterfront in Chora and the main bus station is near the windmills on the top side of Chora. It is walking distance from Chora, but we do not recommend this, especially with luggage. By ferry: In the summer months, Mykonos is served by four ferries daily that depart from Piraeus port or Rafina port (Rafina port is the closest port to Athens International airport). The trip can take between 2 and 5 hours, depending on which you service you choose. During the peak season (between mid-June and late August), we recommend booking at least one month in advance to avoid disappointment. From the ferry terminal, it is a 5 minute walk to the marina. By plane: Every major European airport has direct flights to Athens, whilst many also now have direct flights to Mykonos. From Athens, there are around 18 flights from Athens International Airport (ATH) to Mykonos on a daily basis in the summertime. The flight takes approximately 35 minutes. From the aiport, we recommend taking a taxi to the marina, which is 6kms away. Destinations A stunning destination in itself but also a great place from which to explore the Cyclades and further afar. Amorgos, 50 ΝΜ Tinos, 10 NM Folegandros, 57 ΝΜ Ios, 49 ΝΜ Lavrio, 64 ΝΜ Paros, 21 ΝΜ Santorini, 74 ΝΜ Sifnos, 51 ΝΜ Syros, 25 ΝΜ
