Captain: Thomas Wheeler Captain Thomas Wheeler Captain Thomas was born in South Africa and raised in the coastal town of Langebaan, where his love for the ocean began. Spending much of his childhood surfing or aboard boats, he developed a deep connection to life on the water and knew from an early age that sailing would become his career. Determined to pursue that dream, Thomas completed the necessary training, saved for the journey, and flew to the Caribbean just one week after graduating high school to begin his first job. Since 2018, he has sailed throughout the Caribbean and beyond and now calls the British Virgin Islands home. Having spent years exploring the region, Thomas knows its hidden anchorages, local favorites, and best experiences in all conditions. His career has included a wide variety of vessels and charter programs, from award-winning luxury catamarans to lively pirate-themed day cruisers. A certified Dive Master with a strong passion for marine life, Thomas enjoys helping guests experience the Caribbean both above and below the surface.
