With extensive knowledge of both sailing and motor vessels, he specializes in the operation, maintenance, and overall management of recreational yachts. Highly regarded for his strong leadership and personable nature, Captain Vasilis is communicative, reliable, and detail-oriented, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences at all times. His adaptability and calm approach allow him to handle changing conditions with confidence and efficiency, consistently meeting the highest standards of service and safety. In addition to his command skills, he possesses a thorough understanding of mechanical systems and marine equipment, enabling proactive maintenance and problem-solving onboard. Languages: Greek (native), English (fluent) Previous Yacht: Nomad Chef: Nicolas Chaldaios Born in 1993, chef Nicolas graduated from the prestigious Private Cooking University DOMI in Athens in 2012. Since then, he has diligently worked his way up from a chef assistant to positions such as sous chef, chef de partie, and chef de cuisine, honing his skills in various restaurants and hotels throughout Greece. Specializing in Greek and Italian cuisine, Nicolas is known for his meticulous attention to detail and ability to adapt to different nutritional plans. As he embarks on a new chapter in the yachting industry, his hard-working nature, eagerness to learn, openness to challenges, and positive attitude will undoubtedly continue to drive his success. Fluent in both Greek and English, he effortlessly communicates among his guests and crew members alike, as well as navigates easily in diverse culinary environments, making him a valuable asset on board Namaste. Stew/Deckhand: Sara Fatbardha Xotzai Sara joins the Namaste crew as a stewardess, bringing experience in luxury hospitality and a strong eye for detail. She is dedicated to maintaining high standards of service and creating a warm, welcoming, and comfortable environment for all guests on board. Friendly, adaptable, and highly organized, Sara works well as part of a team and is always attentive to the needs of both guests and crew. Her positive attitude, professionalism, and commitment to excellent service make her a valuable addition to the Namaste team.
