Crew information
Captain: Luc Heymans Crew: Jude Morel, Ted Charles Captain: Luc Heymans With over 15 years of ocean racing under his belt, Luc has participated in several Round the World Races and Inshore World Championships in the USA, UK, France and Italy. He has strong skills in yacht management and implementation of projects such as refits, diving and research. Luc founded Cosmix Underwater Research and successfully managed the underwater research and survey of 'The Cirebon Wreck', a 10th century trading vessel discovered in Indonesia. Luc holds a Captain License 500 GT, RYA Yacht Master Offshore and is a CMAS 2-star Dive Instructor and a PADI Divemaster. Captain/First Mate: Jude Morel Jude (age 46) holds a 500GT Unlimited Certificate and RYA Ocean Yacht Master. He joined LONESTAR in 2015, acting as Second Captain, and as sole Captain when Luc is not on board. Jude has been in the charter business for the past 25 years. He worked on the Outer Islands as fishing guide, and as base manager on Alphonse Island, and as Divemaster, before starting as Captain on different sailing catamarans. He knows all the best places in the Inner and Outer Islands and is totally dedicated to LONESTAR's charter guests. Jude is married with three children and he’s a non-smoker and does not drink alcohol. Divemaster and Bosun: Ted Charles Ted has been on boats since he turned 18, and is still at it with full enthusiasm, at the age of 39. He dived everywhere in the Outer and Inner Islands and worked many years on boats, such as LADY ANIA, which he sailed all the way to the Andaman Islands (India), South Africa, etc. Ted has been on board LONESTAR since 2020. Ted is a happy character and is always appreciated by kids on board, as he’s patient and full of ideas for kids’ games and activities.

SEYCHELLES Outer Islands Charter rate: EUR 58,800 per week Generally from the end of Feb until Apr, and from Oct/Nov until mid Dec. In early May, depending on the weather conditions, it is still possible to cruise most of the Amirante Islands in the Outer Islands, although it may be too windy to visit the Alphonse Islands. Minimum charter period 10 days (it takes about a day to get to the Outer Islands from Mahe).
