Viking Yacht

Viking Yacht is a boat builder based in Bass River, NJ, that produces luxury sportfishing yachts. Reviewers describe them as an established manufacturer of large, top-of-the-line sportfishing yachts. On Google, the business holds a 4.4 rating based on 102 reviews.

Their product lineup includes open bridge convertibles, enclosed bridge convertibles, sky bridge vessels, open express yachts, and sport coupes. These boats are built for anglers and blue-water cruisers. The company operates manufacturing plants and service facilities, including the Viking Yacht Service Center in Riviera Beach, Florida. They also work alongside authorized regional dealer partners.

Many customers who left reviews praise the professional staff and the quality of the build processes. This feedback matches the company's standing as a manufacturer of high-end offshore sportfishing boats. Buyers considering a new vessel will find that build quality is the most consistent point of praise.

Reviews also contain criticism, and a significant number of the more recent ones raise concerns. Several reviewers report problems with post-sale support and warranty claims. Others describe poor communication from management after a purchase. Multiple boaters say their new vessels developed serious mechanical, electrical, or engine problems, and that these led to substantial downtime. Prospective owners may want to read these accounts closely, especially if they are weighing how a builder handles warranty work and follow-up.

The service side of the business is tied to the factory. The Riviera Beach location is one of the dedicated service facilities that support Viking Yacht vessels. The facility is intended to give owners access to factory technicians and product experts for maintenance and system work on their boats.

Taken together, the public feedback paints a mixed picture. Viking Yacht is recognized for the craftsmanship of its sportfishing yachts and for a professional staff, and the rating of 4.4 reflects generally favorable opinions. At the same time, a notable share of recent reviewers feel that support after delivery has not matched the quality of the boats themselves.

Anyone researching Viking Yacht may want to compare the build reputation against the reported experiences with warranty handling and communication. Buyers can ask the business or a dealer partner about how warranty claims are handled and how service scheduling works. They should also ask for a written estimate for any work that falls outside warranty coverage. Reading recent reviews alongside older ones can help show whether the experiences described are isolated or part of a pattern.

The business serves owners of luxury sportfishing yachts and the anglers and cruisers who use them offshore. Their listing in this directory reflects both the strengths and the concerns that reviewers have described, so that boaters can make an informed decision based on what customers have reported.
