Under the ownership of Mike and Jennifer Pawlikowski, the facility continues to build upon its established reputation for excellence in marine repair and maintenance services throughout the North Carolina coast and for transient cruisers navigating the ICW.

The boatyard's technical capabilities are anchored by a diverse team of professional marine technicians, including skilled carpenters, experienced riggers, certified mechanics, and expert painters who bring comprehensive knowledge across all vessel types. Sailcraft Service maintains the largest lifting capacity in Oriental with their 35-ton Marine Travelift featuring an extended crossbeam, enabling them to haul both power and sail boats efficiently. Their infrastructure also includes a 65-foot aerial man lift specifically designed for rigging work, mast inspections, and repairs at height, allowing thorough assessment and service of standing and running rigging systems.

Engine and mechanical services represent a core strength at the facility. The boatyard provides comprehensive maintenance and repair for both diesel and gasoline marine engines, as well as generator service and repair. Recently expanded outboard motor services now include certified Mercury mechanic capabilities alongside master-level Yamaha technical expertise provided by owner Mike Pawlikowski himself, covering Mercury, Yamaha, and Suzuki outboard brands. This specialization ensures cruisers and local boat owners alike have access to factory-trained service for their auxiliary power systems.

Structural repair capabilities at Sailcraft Service extend across fiberglass, aluminum, and steel hull construction, supported by a complete on-site welding shop. Rigging services encompass the full spectrum from mast stepping and un-stepping to furler installation and repair, with the facility equipped to handle complete mast replacement projects.
