Foothills Marine Center

Operating from two locations in North Carolina, this full-service marine dealership has built a reputation serving boaters throughout the Carolinas with an extensive inventory and comprehensive service capabilities. Foothills Marine Center maintains showrooms in both Morganton and Mooresville, with the Morganton facility featuring over 80 boats displayed in a climate-controlled indoor environment that provides year-round shopping comfort for customers.

The dealership represents an impressive portfolio of leading marine manufacturers, including Skeeter, Phoenix, Nitro, Tracker, Sun Tracker, Premier, Godfrey, Sportsman, Tidewater, and Tahoe. Their inventory spans multiple boat categories to serve diverse boating interests: bass boats for tournament anglers and fishing enthusiasts, pontoons and tritoons for family recreation, center console boats for offshore adventures, aluminum fishing boats, and pleasure craft including deck boats and bowriders. This breadth of offerings positions them as a one-stop destination for boaters throughout the Lake Norman region and the western North Carolina foothills.

Beyond boat sales, Foothills Marine Center operates award-winning service departments at both locations, staffed by factory-trained technicians equipped to handle everything from routine maintenance to complex repairs. Their service capabilities include outboard engine service and repair, inboard/outboard (I/O) service, winterization and end-of-season preparation, mobile service for on-site repairs, and professional boat detailing. The service team works with both Yamaha and Mercury outboard engines, providing expert maintenance and repair across the two dominant brands in marine propulsion. Customers can schedule service appointments online, and the dealership maintains well-stocked parts departments to minimize downtime and keep boats on the water.

The Morganton location at 1331 N. Green Street serves as the company's flagship facility, while their Mooresville showroom provides convenient access for Lake Norman boaters in the Charlotte metropolitan area. This dual-location strategy allows them to serve a broad geographic footprint spanning from the mountain lakes of western North Carolina to the piedmont waters around Charlotte and Lake Norman. Their financing office works with customers to structure boat purchases, and they offer trade-in appraisals for those looking to upgrade their current vessels.

Foothills Marine Center has developed particular expertise in the bass boat segment, offering competing lines from industry leaders Skeeter and Phoenix, along with Nitro models. This multi-brand approach allows serious anglers to compare specifications, performance characteristics, and features side-by-side. Similarly, their pontoon selection includes multiple manufacturers at various price points, from the value-oriented Sun Tracker line to premium offerings from Godfrey and Premier. The dealership's YouTube channel features showroom tours, product comparisons, and educational content helping prospective buyers make informed decisions.

With their combination of extensive inventory, manufacturer-certified service capabilities, parts availability, and strategic locations serving both the western Carolina mountains and the Charlotte metropolitan area, Foothills Marine Center has established itself as a significant presence in the North Carolina marine retail landscape.
