Lagoon 51 Iconic

About the Lagoon 51 Iconic

The Lagoon 51 Iconic is the current styled edition of Lagoon’s 51 sailing catamaran, with contemporary exterior detailing and a redesigned forward lounge, extra sun pads and a forward swim ladder. Its hull length is 15.35m; overall length is 15.6m with all options, and beam is 8.1m. Older brokerage Lagoon 51s may not carry Iconic trim, so compare actual features rather than relying on the model name alone.

Accommodation is offered in 4-cabin/3-head, 4-cabin/4-head and 6-cabin/4-head layouts, while the published berth range is 8–14. For buyers, the useful comparison is not just cabin count: check whether the additional cabin suits guest or crew use, and whether a fourth head in the four-cabin version matters more than preserving a cabin.

Published upwind sail area is 149m²; the high-roach mainsail is 89m², with a 98m² square-top mainsail and 95m² Code 0 listed as options. Standard power is twin 80hp engines. The 830L water and 1,040L fuel capacities help frame provisioning and onboard-system comparisons, but verify the equipment fitted to each boat.

When comparing current Lagoon 51 Iconic listings with earlier brokerage boats, match the layout, sail plan and engine specification against the individual inventory: published options do not establish what a particular boat carries. CatamaranWorld recommends treating 15.6m as options-inclusive overall length, not hull length, and checking forward-lounge details and cabin/head configuration in the boat’s records and photographs.
