2016Lagoon42
Overview
Additional details
Disclaimer Launched in 2016, this Lagoon 42 is presented in its owner's version, the most sought-after configuration in the series: an entire hull dedicated to the owner's suite, with its en-suite bathroom and separate shower, while the guest cabins occupy the second hull. Designed by VPLP, it offers the living space of a cruising catamaran on a 12,80-metre by 7,70 platform, certified Category A. A second-hand vessel, it has been prepared by its current owners for living aboard and autonomous cruising. Several major items have recently been refurbished. In 2026, the engines underwent a major service including replacement of the heat exchanger and renewal of the saildrive seal, two interventions that ensure the boat's long-term reliability. The trampolines have been replaced with a new black set, and the seat cushions have been reupholstered and refurbished this year. The boat is therefore presented with its main wear items already addressed. Propulsion is provided by two Yanmar engines with saildrives, totalling approximately 2 200 hours. The aluminium-mast sloop rig carries a mainsail in a lazy bag and a furling genoa, with everything operated from the raised helm station, within reach of the winches and rope clutches. The cockpit is protected by a hardtop covering the entire outdoor living area. It is finished in teak, as are the side decks, and extended aft by a stainless-steel davit arch. The tender is permanently carried there with its outboard on a dedicated bracket, leaving the transoms clear for access to the water. Forward, the new trampolines and foredeck provide a second relaxation area, served by an electric windlass. The interior is arranged around a bright, wide-beamed saloon with large windows, featuring a corner settee, saloon table and flat-screen television. The galley is located beyond it, equipped with cooking hobs, a built-in oven and a stainless-steel sink on a dark worktop. The two metres of headroom and panoramic windows give the space an unusual level of light for a vessel of this size. The navigation electronics are by B&G, with a multifunction chartplotter at the helm, repeater displays, autopilot and steering compass. The electrical panel and battery-bank monitor are grouped at the top of the companionway. The owners have also equipped the boat with solar power, a battery bank sized for autonomy, a watermaker and a satellite internet connection, all installed with a view to extended stays at anchor. The hot-water system, pressurised water pump and service equipment are accessible from the technical lockers. The boat sails under the French flag. Details of the added equipment and work carried out are available on request. TOFALE is available to view in Greece by appointment. We remain at your disposal to arrange a viewing or send you the complete dossier.
