Coming from a family of passionate sailors and watersports enthusiasts, it was inevitable that he would eventually pursue a career within the sailing industry. After completing a Master’s degree in Hydrology, Tom decided to follow his dream of travelling the world on a sailing yacht, which led him to leave the Netherlands and begin his career at sea. He first gained experience through seasonal work in the Mediterranean before eventually making the Caribbean his home. Tom’s greatest motivation for continuing in this industry is creating memorable experiences for his guests on the water. He is passionate about teaching a variety of watersports and sharing the beauty of the world from a unique perspective. His aim is for guests to feel that each day of their journey is even more special than the last. NICOLE SCHAAF CHEF Languages: English, German Nicole’s passion for cooking is closely connected to travel, creativity, and sharing experiences through food. Her career as a yacht chef has taken her across the Mediterranean and Caribbean, where she has developed a fresh, versatile style inspired by local ingredients and global flavours. Alongside her culinary work, Nicole is also a trained food photographer, bringing a strong visual sensibility to her plating and presentation. With several charter seasons behind her, she understands the importance of adaptability, attention to detail, and creating memorable dining experiences for her guests. KARMELA PRPIC HOSTESS Languages: English Karmela comes from a strong background in hospitality and event coordination, where she developed a natural ability for guest care, organisation, and seamless service. She takes pride in anticipating guest needs and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout the journey.
