Overview

T/A = N/A 15% max No commission on sleep aboard. Preference sheet available SPECIAL CONDITIONS 1. Government tax (14% charter tax) is not included in the charter rate and is noted in the additional fees. 2. A customary crew gratuity is not included in the charter fee. A standard amount for a gratuity in the charter industry is 15-20% of the charter fee at the discretion of the CHARTERER. Cash is ideal, but Venmo, Zelle and CashApp are also accepted. 3. Travel insurance, Cancellation/Curtailment insurance and Charterer's Liability Insurance are highly recommended. 4. For certified SCUBA divers only: 6 total tanks included in charter fee. Fills are via onboard compressor. 1 tank per diver free, after that, $20/dive. The Bahamas’ government charges a tax ($50/per diver) to guests diving from charter vessels. This is a one-time fee based on the number of divers, not the number of dives. This tax must be paid to the crew before disembarking, to be remitted to the Bahamas government alongside the charter tax. 5. Anchorage throughout the Exumas, except inside the Exuma Land & Sea Park, is included in the charter rate. National Park visits, moorings and dockage are additional and will be arranged at CHARTERER’S request. Fees must be paid either directly or reimbursed to the crew before the conclusion of the charter. Exuma Cays Land & Sea Park (ECLSP) fees at the time of writing this Agreement were: Mooring - $50/nt; Anchorage

Accommodations

TAHINA is a 2008 St. Francis sailing catamaran made for relaxed Bahamas cruising—classic, spacious, and wonderfully easygoing. Her inviting layout is centered around comfortable island living, with a cozy salon settee for morning coffee and games, a shaded cockpit for alfresco dining and sunset toasts, and an outdoor cockpit shower for refreshing after a swim before settling back in with turquoise-water views. Accommodating up to 6 guests, TAHINA offers 2 forward queen cabins with beds measuring approximately 5’ x 6’8”, plus 1 aft cabin with a bed measuring 5’ x 6’ and an additional Pullman berth measuring approximately 2’4½” x 6’. Each cabin has a private ensuite. The two forward ensuites include separate showers, while the aft ensuite features a wet-head shower arrangement. Full A/C keeps the yacht comfortable whenever needed. With a dedicated captain and chef taking care of the details, TAHINA offers a comfortable, carefree way to explore the Bahamas. Crew accommodations are in the starboard double cabin.

Click each crew profile to learn more about their background, experience, and personal story. Captain: Jason Decker Captain Jason Decker Captain Jason holds an RYA Yachtmaster Ocean qualification earned through years of offshore sailing, international racing, and extensive cruising experience. He has competed at a high level in the J/24 one-design class, as well as in numerous other one-design and handicap-rated events throughout Europe, the Americas, and New Zealand. His experience also includes a half-circumnavigation and years of sailing alongside Lara, giving him a broad understanding of blue-water passages, vessel management, and life at sea. Beyond the helm, Jason is a qualified PADI Divemaster, avid kiteboarder, and enthusiastic surfer and paddleboarder. He enjoys helping guests make the most of every destination, whether that means getting out on the water, exploring beneath the surface, or simply finding the perfect place to enjoy the surroundings. Jason is also well known for preparing delicious breakfasts at sea, adding another personal touch to the charter experience. Chef/First Mate: Lara Ortiz Chef Lara Ortiz Raised in South Florida by an avid fisherman and lifelong lover of coastal living, Chef Lara has been boating, snorkeling, and paddling for as long as she can remember. As the lead culinary artist onboard, Lara enjoys creating fresh, satisfying meals and treats tailored to each guest’s preferences and cravings. Her role extends well beyond the galley. Lara takes great care in helping guests plan their time on the water, learning what they enjoy, and matching those interests with the right anchorages, activities, and experiences. With a strong sense of hospitality, local curiosity, and years of shared cruising experience with Jason, Lara helps create charters that feel thoughtful, personal, and genuinely memorable.
