Captain: Keanen Bain Crew: Erin Sweeney S/Y Segundo Viento enters the new charter season with Captain Keanen Bain and Chef Erin Sweeney as her full-time crew - bringing together established knowledge of the yacht, extensive experience on the waters of the BVIand a fresh culinary offering shaped by a decade in professional kitchens. It is a new crew partnership with an important point of continuity: Keanen already knows Segundo Viento. He hassailed and worked aboard her through different stages of her Caribbean journey and now steps into thepermanent Captain role alongside Erin. Captain: Keanen Bain South African-born Captain Keanen Bain is a lifelong waterman, having grown up sailing, surfing, diving andexploring the ocean from an early age. Now at home in the British Virgin Islands, Keanen has spent the past twoyears on the water getting to know its islands, anchorages and hidden gems - knowledge he loves sharing withhis guests. Keanen is also no stranger to Segundo Viento. His experience aboard includes joining her as First Mate onpassage from Mexico to Aruba, spending two months aboard in Aruba and sailing down-island alongside CaptainLee, giving him valuable first-hand knowledge of the yacht before stepping into his full-time role as Captain. An RYA Yachtmaster Offshore, commercially endorsed, Keanen combines confident seamanship and a strong safety-first approach with an easy-going warmth that has earned him consistently five-star TripAdvisor reviews from charter guests.
