His experience includes passages through Italy, Corsica, Sardinia, Malta, Sicily and the Greek Islands, as well as offshore sailing between the British Virgin Islands and Grenada. His professional qualifications also include MCA STCW Basic Safety Training, RYA Powerboat Level 2, Short Range Radio, Radar and Diesel Engine Maintenance, together with PADI Open Water Diver certification. Most importantly, Alfie already knows the British Virgin Islands from a charter captain’s perspective. Prior to joining Sea Monkeys, he captained a luxury charter catamaran operating throughout the BVI and wider Caribbean, where he was responsible not only for the safe operation and maintenance of the yacht, but also for delivering an exceptional experience for guests.
