Sea Monkeys accommodates guests in four beautifully appointed cabins, each offering a bright and welcoming retreat with comfortable double berths, quality linens, excellent natural light, reading lights, storage, and modern finishes. The yacht’s neutral palette of soft whites, warm wood tones, and sophisticated accents creates a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere throughout. The spacious air-conditioned salon is surrounded by panoramic windows, bringing the Caribbean scenery directly into the interior. An open-plan galley connects seamlessly with the salon and aft cockpit, creating an inviting social space for enjoying meals, cocktails, and time together. Outside, Sea Monkeys offers exceptional areas for relaxing and entertaining. The expansive aft cockpit provides shaded dining and lounge seating, while the elevated flybridge features additional seating, sunbathing areas, and wonderful views while underway or at anchor. Forward, guests can enjoy another peaceful lounging area surrounded by sea and sunshine. Captain: ALFIE WHELAN Captain: ALFIE WHELAN CAPTAIN ALFIE WHELANCaptain Alfie Whelan brings to Sea Monkeys a combination of professional seamanship, extensive offshore sailing experience, Caribbean charter knowledge, and a genuine passion for hospitality. An RYA Yachtmaster Offshore (Sail) with approximately 4,250 nautical miles logged, Alfie has sailed extensively throughout the Mediterranean and Caribbean. His experience includes passages through Italy, Corsica, Sardinia, Malta, Sicily and the Greek Islands, as well as offshore sailing between the British Virgin Islands and Grenada. His professional qualifications also include MCA STCW Basic Safety Training, RYA Powerboat Level 2, Short Range Radio, Radar and Diesel Engine Maintenance, together with PADI Open Water Diver certification. Most importantly, Alfie already knows the British Virgin Islands from a charter captain’s perspective. Prior to joining Sea Monkeys, he captained a luxury charter catamaran operating throughout the BVI and wider Caribbean, where he was responsible not only for the safe operation and maintenance of the yacht, but also for delivering an exceptional experience for guests. Alfie’s approach to chartering combines safety and professionalism with a relaxed and personable style. His previous hospitality experience at a prestigious private members club in Malta, serving high-net-worth international clientele, taught him the importance of anticipating guests’ preferences, attention to detail, and creating seamless service while remaining discreet and approachable. Friendly, energetic and passionate about life on the water, Alfie enjoys helping guests discover the best of the islands—whether that means an exhilarating day under sail, snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, exploring ashore, enjoying the yacht’s water toys, or finding the perfect secluded anchorage to simply relax. Sea Monkeys Offers CAPTAIN ONLY Captain’s Services Include: - Provisioning Assistance: Expert help to stock the yacht. - Galley Support: Assistance with meal prep and after-meal clean-up. - Reservations Made Easy: From restaurants to day trips and onshore excursions. - Daily Tidying: Salon upkeep and mid-week linen changes for added comfort. - Coordination of Essentials: Moorings, anchoring, trash, ice, and more. - Water Activities: Orchestrating fun experiences on and in the water. Local Knowledge: - Guidance on cruising grounds and onshore activities. - Personalized recommendations for restaurants and excursions. - Engaging safety briefings and curated themed playlists. Included Yacht Amenities: - Snorkel gear, 1 paddleboard, 1 Floating Matt, BVI Fishing Permit - Premium linens, towels, toiletries, and onboard WiFi. - Sunscreen, bug spray, beach games, and indoor entertainment. Exclusions: Please note that food, beverages, dock fees (marina and mooring fees), customs, permits, airport transfers, shore excursions, and crew tips are not included. MINIMUM NIGHTS: 5 LESS THAN 7 NIGHT CHARTER RATES: For 6-night charters, divide weekly rate by 7 nights X 6 nights. For 5 nights or less, divide weekly rate by 6 nights X number of nights. SLEEP ABOARD: 1/2 the daily rate. Dinner ashore at client's expense. Includes boarding after 4pm, early start. HOLIDAYS 2026 CHRISTMAS: 7-night minimum $17,500 for 2-6 guests and must end no later than December 26th. 2026 NEW YEARS: 7-night minimum $18,000 for 2-6 guests and must start December 28th or later. EMBARKATION: 12PM DISEMBARKATION: 12PM TURN AROUNDS: 48-hour turn arounds required - inquire for 24-hour turns ++++ Sea Monkeys is available for luxury day charters for up to 10 guests. The charter includes an open bar, water toys, a cheese platter, all onboard consumables, and the services of two crew members - a captain and stewardess - as well as BVI cruising permits. Not included: Lunch and crew gratuity. Rates: $4,500 - 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
