Meet your Chef, Lorne I’m a South African chef, ocean lover and firm believer that good food, good people and a bit of adventure make for a pretty great life. I’m naturally outgoing, easy-going and always up for trying something new. Whether that’s finding a hidden beach, getting in the water, exploring somewhere I’ve never been. In the galley, I love keeping things fresh, creative and relaxed. I enjoy getting to know guests and finding out what they love to eat, then turning that into food that feels personal rather than just another meal. I’m happiest when everyone is around the table, plates are getting cleared way too quickly and there’s plenty of laughter. I’m a big believer in bringing good energy to a boat. I’m hardworking, reliable and calm when things get busy, but I also think a charter should feel like a holiday, not a business meeting!
