He brings extensive experience to the team as a qualified RYA Yacht Master, with two Atlantic crossings and multiple Southern Ocean races under his belt, a testament to his dedication and love for the sea. Murray will be entering his third season in the Virgin Islands as a charter captain. His love for the outdoors also extends to motocross, kayaking, mountain biking, and hiking. Harley is a versatile fine-dining chef with more than five years of experience in some of South Africa’s most acclaimed restaurants, including La Colombe, FYN, Salsify, Greenhouse and Gate at Quoin Rock. A graduate of the Silwood School of Cookery, he holds a Cordon Bleu Grande Diploma and has developed expertise across multicultural cuisine, open-fire cooking, butchery, advanced saucing, pastry and pâtisserie. Known for his calm precision, creativity and positive leadership style, Harley thrives in demanding culinary environments. Murray and Harley have been friends for many years, having attended boarding school together. Together, they embody a blend of skill, passion, and a sense of adventure.
