Outdoors, the top-deck lounge is made for sunset toasts, and the villa-style aft lounge quickly becomes a favorite gathering spot once the anchor drops. Accommodating up to 8 guests in 4 expansive queen cabins, each with a private ensuite, EVENSTAR offers a relaxed balance of comfort, style, and connection. Captain: Tim Shiaris Captain Tim Shiaris Born and raised around the waters of the Chesapeake Bay, Captain Tim has spent most of his life on boats, both motor and sail, developing a deep respect for the sea and a passion for adventure. His love for exploration and connecting with people eventually led him to the Virgin Islands, where he now shares that sense of wonder with every charter guest. With a strong background in racing yachts and a drive to continually expand his skills, Tim has earned advanced certifications that reflect both his commitment to safety and his passion for sailing. His calm, steady leadership makes him a natural on the water, creating a safe and relaxed environment where guests can fully enjoy island-hopping, snorkeling, and soaking in the Caribbean sunshine. Beyond sailing, Tim’s interests are as hands-on and adventurous as his charters, from snowboarding and traveling to restoring historic homes. He is also a master of the grill, known for taking home awards in BBQ competitions and bringing serious flavor to the table. Tim lives by the motto, “It’s all about the experience.” Whether it is a guest’s first sail or tenth, he is dedicated to crafting unforgettable days on the water with just the right mix of adventure, local charm, and laid-back island vibes. Chef/First Mate: Zara Browne Chef Zara Browne Born in Dublin, Ireland, Chef Zara moved to Long Island at a young age, where she discovered her love of the water. She spent weekends sailing with her dad and exploring the North Fork of Long Island. When she was not enjoying the outdoors, she spent time at her family’s restaurant in Hoboken, New Jersey, where her appreciation for fresh, quality food first began. Zara’s professional background has always been rooted in restaurants and hospitality. She brings more than 15 years of bartending experience, along with five years in luxury concierge services, where she worked closely with high-profile New York City restaurants, planned extravagant events, and helped run private spas and gyms. When Zara was ready for a change of pace, she found the perfect way to combine her love of hospitality and the water by joining the yachting industry. She has worked under multiple yacht chefs, adding a new layer of knowledge and refinement to her personal culinary style and onboard service. Zara has always been passionate about creating memorable experiences for her guests. Through fresh food, creative cocktails, thoughtful service, and the natural ambiance of the islands, she looks forward to helping guests form unforgettable memories on charter.
