Accommodating up to 8 guests in 4 queen cabins, each with a private ensuite head and shower, she offers comfort and privacy for families or friends. Captain: Tim Montgomery Captain Tim Montgomery Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Captain Tim began his career as a chef, working in kitchens and aboard vessels around the world. His passion for the ocean truly took hold during three years with National Geographic’s expedition ships, sailing the coasts of North and Central America. That journey eventually led him to the Virgin Islands, where he fell in love with the vibrant culture, community, and turquoise waters of St. Thomas. Over the years, Tim has captained yachts throughout the U.S. and British Virgin Islands and the Lesser Antilles, discovering hidden coves and local favorites few visitors ever see. He holds a USCG Master’s License and STCW 95 certification and has spent more than 3,000 days at sea. Tim prides himself on creating a relaxed, personalized experience for every guest. Rather than following rigid itineraries, he reads the mood of each day and tailors the adventure accordingly. Whether guests are looking for secluded beaches, world-class snorkeling, quiet sunsets, or legendary beach bars, he knows just where to go. Known for his easygoing leadership, knack for great cocktails, and occasional guitar session at sunset, Captain Tim is dedicated to making every charter aboard GET ALONG feel personal, memorable, and true to the spirit of the Caribbean. Chef/First Mate: Jessica Chef Jessica Originally from South Africa, Chef Jessica brings a warm, easygoing spirit to life aboard GET ALONG, along with a genuine love for cooking and making people feel at home. Her passion for food began in her family kitchen, where she learned from her mother the joy of creating simple, heartfelt meals that bring people together. With a background in hospitality and years in guest-focused roles, Jessica found her perfect fit in charter yachting, combining her love of cooking, travel, and connecting with people from all walks of life. Now based in the Caribbean, she enjoys using fresh, local ingredients to create approachable, flavorful dishes inspired by the relaxed rhythm of island life. Her style is unfussy yet thoughtful, with colorful salads, grilled seafood, tropical flavors, and meals served with care and creativity. Whether she is chatting over morning coffee, accommodating special requests, or serving dinner under the stars, Jessica’s warm hospitality helps every guest feel comfortable and cared for. When she is not in the galley, she can often be found snorkeling, paddleboarding, or exploring local markets in search of fresh inspiration.
